. . . what's the best thing about john lennon? well besides the music... it's the sunglasses! round, small framed sunglasses have recently become ultra popular amongst fashionistas around the world and i'm dying to get my hand on a pair! i'm especially excited about my upcoming trip to London so i can scour the markets for all different pairs in different colors. (after all vintage is better than brand spankin' new in my opinion.)

shoes.. what can i say, they get me everytime. even when i make wish list after wish list and sometimes purchase a few off my wish list, there are still on a reserve list in the back of my mind. it's crazy, i know. i've put together some of my more recent shoe obsessions in a little something for all of you to enjoy. wish away my loves.

Dsquared2 Crawford sandal . . . most of my favorite photos are always in black and white. there is something about b&w photos that really catch your attention. (not to mention if its a photo of yourself you'll look better most of the time) but there is also that extra bit of classic, timeless-ness that is added to a photo when its in black and white, if that makes sense. here are some photos that i absolutely love that i found this past weekend and find great inspiration from!

. . . i've decided to do something a little different today, sort of like a spotlight on. for my first one i've chosen rosie huntington-whiteley and not a cliche like you might expect out of me like olivia palermo or poppy delevigne (although you know theirs wont be too far down the road!) anyways, hope you like it! this look is so easy and fabulous for a summer day, not only do i love the color of the skirt but also the easy white silk tank top. add a colorful bag, and you've got colorblocking. 
finally, i get to sit down again and write another post. it's been such a busy week at work that i've had little time to myself other than at night. there are so many photos that i find daily that i want to share with you all but it would mean i could have no life and only post on my blog at about one blog post per hour! yeah, right! so i've decided to do another currently obsessed post to highlight some of the things i'm loving right now. i found these photos this week and love all the inspiration that is screaming at me! 
currently obsessed with: round, john lennon-like sunglasses they are so in right now whether you want to admit it or not. and i SO want a pair, right now. the row has a great pair as seen on millie mackintosh and this photo is amazing (if only we could all have a photo like this of ourselves). the ray-ban mixed with the roundness is perfection! 
curently obssesed with: the makeup, hair and outfit i'm loving everything about this photo lately. the first time i saw it i was mesmerized. the makeup, the hair, the outfit.. it's all flawless. in fact, i tried to imitate this hairstyle today but unfortunately my hair is not that long. not to mention the florida humidity got to it before i took two steps out the front door. 
currently obsessed with: this dress this dress is amazing. it's one that can be worn casual during the day or dressed up at night with some fab statement jewelry and an up-do. 
currently obsessed with: nicole richie, these sunglasses, the jewelry, the makeup.. (everything?) not only is her makeup and hair flawless in this but once again, the sunglasses! not to mention that cuff is to die for..literally. 
currently obsessed with: structured outfits. structured outfits are making a comback. although i think that flow-y, loose clothes wont be going out of style anytime soon, structure is definitely making its way back in. 
currently obsessed wtih: all white with a touch of glam. yeah, yeah.. we all know that 80% of my closet is black. but there is something about this all white ensemble with some great jewels that really catches my eye. and especially since it's the summer season, it's perfect for day or night! 
currently obsessed with: the makeup. always obsessed with: olivia palermo's style.. i love this makeup, the eye makeup is such a great subtle smokey eye and the face makeup is flawless. if only i could smile like this and get away with a gorgeous photograph. really. 
currently obsessed with: do i need a reason to love this photo?
this photo is so glamourous, elegant, dark and gorgeous all at the same time. im obsessed with the headpiece, the intricate detailing and the makeup. not to mention her amazing bone structure! . . . another blog hiatus. sorry! spent the weekend at the parent's house and spent a lot of time with family so had virtually no time to sit down. but i have made a vow to myself to return to blogging daily. i've been in a window shopping mood lately so i thought i would create a polyvore set of another wish list (never ending list, really) but instead of just any wish list, this one is a luxury wish list. the items on the list are all so different but i love each of them and maybe one day they will have a home in my closet. one day....
