I've recently fallen in love with the color Emerald. Well not just emerald but any rich, dark green. There are so many shades of it that it would be way too hard to just choose one but that's the good part... you have so many options! And who wouldn't want to wear emerald especially since everyone knows how fabulous it is for several reasons: Emerald City was the most beautiful place you can remember from Wizard of Oz. The ancient Roman God, Venus, was believed to be connected to the most sought after of emerald color and was the figure who gave everlasting love and beauty. And not to mention, many crown jewels include the color emerald.

I feel like a bad mother who has neglected her child except I've been neglecting my blog. Life has been kind of hectic lately but I'm back and I'm going to stay on top of this thing. I've got lots of new material (thanks to Pinterest, as always) Christmas is right around the corner and everyone is getting their list together. Although this isn't my official list I'll be handing out to people, most of it is on my "wish"list for this year. What's on your Christmas list?

The Outfit on the Right. Sorry girl on the right, I do LOVE your outfit as well but the outfit on the left to me is what I want to wear right now. I love the slouchy shorts and shirt with the tailored but oversized blazer and Chelsea boots.

These shoes are amazing. Well done Christian Louboutin! I love the different colors on the snakeskin print and the pointy toe (especially since they are making a comeback) And of course, the red sole.

This flower arrangement that was seen at Jill Sander's runway show in 2012 is amazing and perfect for any occasion! A luncheon, dinner party, wedding.. you name it. Not to mention the colors are great inspiration for any home decor or outfit!

This saying needs to be every girl's daily reminder (and if you want too, men!)

Taylor Tomasi Hill you've done it again! I am obsessing over this outfit and the mixture of colors and how well it played out. not to mention I love that skirt!

This dress, this bag, that belt.. I want everything so thank you very much Bottega Veneta for making my wish-list grow just a little bit more and farther to reach!

This book purse from Chanel.. because every girl needs a Chanel so why not make it a Chanel beaded book purse?

This... art from Robert Triscoli is amazing. This photo is beyond inspirational to me.

I love winter. The cold air, the layering of clothes, the boots.. but especially the fur. Fur has been around for a long time, faux and real, but recently it's been more chic than ever. Whether it is in the form of a scarf, hood, jacket, purse, gilet... it adds a touch of sophistication to any outfit as proved by the photos and outfits below. Plus its a great for keeping you warm and comfortable.

Since I'm living in South Florida at the moment (and it's no where NEAR cold enough to bring out the fur).. I'll keep my fur blanket on my bed until it gets cold enough.
Look One: I love the pale color of this jacket and vintage feel. Just by looking at it you can tell it's a fabulous find!
Look Two: 'Drape-y' fur gilet.. the BEST and that little bit of extra fur will be very cozy to wrap around you for warmth.
Look Three: What's not to love about this fur jacket + orange sparkle shoes. A twist on Dorothy.. you are definetly NOT in Kansas anymore.
Look Four: One of my favorite style icons, Millie Mackintosh, knocks it out of the park with this fur hooded scarf which is available at Charlotte and Lisa.
Look Five: The color scheme of this photo is amazing and so inspiring.
Look Six: Casual, comfy yet stylish. That's what this outfit screams (as well as being in my closet!)
Last but not least: (yes, another M.Mackintosh photo) What isn't to love about this outfit. I love the white of the fur with the white shirt and leather shorts. Not to mention those red boots are to die for!

As we all know by now, black is probably my favorite color to wear on a day to day basis. It's a safe color, you can always add a pop of something bright here and there and not to mention its slimming. I've put together some of my favorite photos of this dark and mysterious color and why I love them so much!
These cutouts from Max Azaria are so amazingly gorgeous and the black adds a cool and mysterious feel to it. I need to get my hands on this, as soon as possible.

Boots are my new favorite go-to shoe. I just bought a new pair tomorrow with the prettiest detailing, but I love the look of the boots being a little oversized with a nice pair of black tights. And these Opening Ceremony boots are perfect. End of story.

Olivia, Olivia, Olivia... how I always love your style, ESPECIALLY this one. At this point, I don't even care what shirt is under that jacket because that jacket is so amazing you don't need one. The booties add that little pop of color I was talking about before to this all black ensemble.

These eyes are so captivating but I love the little bit of black kohl lining the top. Lining on only the top of your eye makes your eyes pop.. add a bit of color to your lips and you instantly have a glamourous look for day or night.

Obsessed doesn't even begin to describe the way I feel about this all black ensemble. Especially with the gloves (a little bit of color) and the clutch! Kudos to you Mary-Kate..

I've always had a soft spot for studs and spikes. I'm not really sure where it came from or how it started but I love mixing them with soft, girly accents like a chiffon skirt or blouse. Here are a few items I wouldn't mind adding to my wardrobe, especially both pairs of shoes!

1. Alexander Wang || Diego Bucket Bag
2. Alexander McQueen || Studded Oxblood Skull Clutch
3. Valentino || Rockstud Leopard Slingbacks
4. Miss Selfridges || Black Studded Hair Bow
5. Hermes || Collier de Chien Cuff
6. Topshop || Studded Denim Shirt
7. Zara || Studded Ankle Strap Sandals

Boots: Topshop POWER Gold Trim Boots// Bracelets: Link of London Friendship Bracelet + Hermes Cartouche Bracelet // Jacket: Pace Leather Jacket // Ballerina Flats: Lanvin Leather Bow Flats

This Outfit could it be any more perfect? Doubtful! I love the print, the length of the dress, the boots, the bag. And it all goes so perfectly without trying. If anyone knows where I can find this dress, EMAIL ME ASAP! (Not Kidding)

Millie Mackintosh is one of my new favorite fashion icons.. especially with this photo. I love the trench with the boots and hat look. I've always been a fan of MM so make sure to be on the lookout for a style blog on her soon, probably too many photos to post at once though. (PS, have you seen her new French Bulldog???)

These sunglasses are perfect. No joke. And I thought I would find the perfect pair at a market in London on my trip but I didn't. Maybe they dont fit my face right but I'll be wearing them sooner or later. Probably just have to splurge on a pair of Elizabeth and James.

Mixing prints at home are an essential to any boho, fashion house. I recently just moved house and decorating is definitely taking its toll on me, especially since I can't paint the walls (they are so yuck brown color). But I love this photo, all the different prints and colors somehow all mesh together in the most perfect way!

The beauty in this photo is unreal. I'm obsessed with the natural makeup, carefree hair and of course, Rosie. Now.. if only I could get my hair to look like this on a regular basis. Any suggestions?!

I love fall and winter. It's probably one of my favorite times of the year just because of the weather (unless of course you are in Florida and it doesn't exist... but when I get away it's glorious) After my most recent trip to London (the last two weeks.. hence the LACK of blog posts.. sorry!) I got the first glimpse of fall and the wonderful wardrobes that come with it. Here are some of my fall wish-list items, some more realistic than others.
1. Chloe studded booties // 2. 3.1 Philip Lim Pashli leather handbag // 3. Ted Baker of London embellished dress // 4. NARS nail polish in Storm // 5. Topshop Metallic t-shirt dress // 6. Celine leather shopper tote // 7. A.P.C. rabbit fur coat // 8. Lanvin tribal sandals // 9. Elizabeth + James metal accented round sunglasses // 10. NARS Aqua Gel luminious oil-free moisturizer
